TideCoin

Post-Quantum Security.

Tidecoin's currency design enables it to run on various types of ubiquitous computing devices, enabling pervasive process of value, even that in multiple worlds.

Introduction

Tidecoin is a peer-to-peer digital currency that enables instant, near-zero cost payments to anyone in the world. An open source global payment network, and fully decentralized without any central authorities.

Features of Post-Quantum security make Tidecoin a pontential replacement for Bitcoin. Tidecoin's new cryptography algorithm 'Falcon' is a lattice-based cryptography algorithm, based on the theoretical framework of Gentry, Peikert and Vaikuntanathan.

There is no efficient solving algorithm currently known in the general case, even with the help of quantum computers, because the underlying, difficult problem is the short integer solution problem (SIS) over NTRU lattices.

09/Dec/2020, "Photonic Quantum Computer Displays 'Supremacy' Over Supercomputers", a news' title from spectrum.ieee.org. It clearly shows that billions of value on the Bitcoin network is facing the threat of Quantum computers. It is time to build a Post-Quantum security cryptocurrency. Tidecoin aims to build a quantum secure cryptocurrency.

NIST Post-Quantum Cryptography Standardization

"It is a program and competition by NIST to update their standards to include post-quantum cryptography.

It was announced at PQCrypto 2016. 23 signature schemes and 59 encryption/KEM schemes were submitted by the initial submission deadline at the end of 2017, of which 69 total were deemed complete and proper and participated in the first round.

Seven of these, of which 3 are signature schemes, have advanced to the third round, which was announced on July 22, 2020"
